The Workshop Chair was created for a series of lectures and exhibits that celebrated the culture and skills of the amateur designer (or non-designer). The simple chair embodies this process perfectly; assembled easily with few pieces and some wax…it is fully repairable and 100% biodegradable, and passes the top level structure tests for contract furniture. Conceptual for sure, but with enough real world applications to forecast the future of both manufacturing and design.
