Check out that weird numeric font, especially the droopy ‘0’, the arched ‘1’ and jagged ‘3’. The use of unusual dies makes counterfeiting a lot trickier. This peculiar font was first used on British Columbia license plates in 1924 and reappeared frequently until 1956.
