This pretty pattern was created for the Cabin exhibition in 2003. This exhibit was highly influential, marking a rebirth in Canadian style, and was a confident assertion that design in Canada mattered, was globally relevant and well worth exploring. This work by Clarke, was one of the graphic pieces that really recharged the discussion around Canadian imagery being used in design, and in the ways that the creative class was applying their own culture as an authentic point of departure.
