The blue ensign is a flag used by certain organizations connected/colonized by the United Kingdom. It is used either plain, or defaced with a badge or other emblem which identifies the group applying the ensign. The blue ensign and motto, Ready Aye Ready, were approved by the British in 1868 for use by all military ships owned by the Canadian government, with the defaced jack of the Royal Canadian Navy in use from its inception until the adoption of the Maple Leaf flag in 1965. 1921–1957 (with green maple leaf), 1957–1965 (with red maple leaf).

Hi Oliver,
Best to my knowledge it is not available as yet. The Flag Shop produced the Red Ensign 3′ x 6′ with green maple leafs about 6 years ago. The only alternative is to have a run custom printed. But that is no chep undertaking. Ten years ago I ordered a run of 2 yard Blue Ensigns 1957-1965.
