    While the red cross on a white background has been one of the world’s most recognized symbols since it was originally conceived in 1864, there were inconsistencies and challenging with digital applications in the Canadian Red Cross Society’s implementation of the branding. The CRC engaged Concrete Design, based in Toronto, to design comprehensive implementation guidelines to cover all touchpoints, from print materials and packaging, to signage, advertising campaigns, and web presence.
