These are one of those objects, like an ashtray, that we will not see ceramicists lining up to make. The times have changed, and we are loosing the gravy boat from our object landscapes. Obviously these containers must have been popular at one time, and this one was one of the prettiest for sure. With aerodynamic lines that would make Henry Dreyfuss proud, this is one of many formal masterpieces from one of Canada’s ceramic giants.
