The Société de transport de la Communauté urbaine de Montréal (STCUM) or Montreal Urban Community Transit Corporation (MUCTC) ran the buses and the Metro in Montreal, Quebec from 1985-2001. In 2001, it was renamed to Société de transport de Montréal or Montreal Transit Corporation when the city of Montreal merged with 27 other municipalities. These annual reports are pieces of history from a Montreal in a different administrative era. The merger itself was not popular and was rescinded in several municipalities, but has undobtedly changed the transit, governance, and shape of Montreal.
