This one-of-a-kind rocking chair (49″w x 40″d x 36.5″h) embodies Lishman's unconventional and anti-modern approach to design. This was designed from the vantage of the sitter, rather than the rockers role as room decor (This piece might be a challenge to add to an interior). While in the rocker, the user is comforted by the wool covered tractor style seat and is enveloped by the swooping tubes which double as decorative armrests and runners. In addition to his furniture and sculpture, Lishman invented the Ultralight personal plane, an enormous success in the seventies.
