In 1973 Freddi Jaggi and Fritz Gottschalk gave the Royal Bank emblem this modernist treatment, creating one of Canada’s most recognizable logos. The previous logo, designed by Lippincott & Margulies in 1962, was a bold departure from the banks earlier emblems.
