You have an extensive resource of bauer bikes! I have 2 myself (and love them to death) they are a boreas (prototype with columbus slx tubing) and another one built with columbus matrix thanks for the (pretty much) only info on bauer bikes on the web :D

Hi there, I bought this year exactly the same old Steve Bauer Bike. Of all my bikes – and I rode couple of dozens lately, this one was the smoothest and nicest ride with the best time on my fixed city distance! I can not explain that. The competition were 30 times more expensive bikes (literally).

That is my bike! well I have the same one anyway. Still gets me to work everyday.

Nice restoration job…..too bad you dont have the real seat still…..i just happen to have found one completely original only missing the grips…..the seat is supposed to be White with the Steve Bauer name on it ;)

i live in london ontario , i have this bike with original white seat and white grips , derailleur is missing but everything else is there and original rims tread cantalever brakes …im looking to sell this to someone who will bring her back to life and appreciate this era …i myself am a avid downhill bike and singletrack ..so shoot me a fair price if interested and we can go from there …
