June 30th was definitely the biggest day for skateboarding that Winnipeg has ever seen. Words can’t describe how amazing this park is. I was lucky enough to talk to Eric Koston (a VERY well respected pro from Girl Skateboards) who was in town for the grand opening. When I asked him for his perspective on the park compared to other parks worldwide, he described the street section as the best he’s skated. You couldn’t buy a better quote than that.
