Cooper Bell Limited, Toronto, designed the logo in 1986. Dawn Cooper Bell and Glynn Bell, principals of the firm and the designers of the logo, created all promotional materials for the 100th year celebration of the Royal Conservatory of Music including the design of all repertoire book covers.

It’s great to see this logo make an appearance on the blog. Many of the covers to their repertoire books could be considered design classics as well.
