Designed as an annual suggestion, This Year’s Colour 2011 was sampled from a plastic recycle bin in Vancouver, a humble but tough little workhorse. Blue is emerging as the official colour of corporate responsibility, and this project presents this factory made colour, with its characteristics of renewal, industry, and open sky as a fitting signature of our times.
