Do any graphic designers actually work at MLSE? If so, they and the marketing team that hired them, should be fired! Besides the TFC, the graphic design of their teams, of their buildings, swag, online and TV is absolutely awful and embarrassing. What a sorry way to present such powerful properties as the Maple Leaf’s. Shame on this company. On the flip side, imagine if MLSE was design savvy, what outputs they have and what a cultural contribution they could be making in Toronto! Maybe one day they will recognize this over site and make some changes and chose to actually invest in design.

While I agree this not the best. I do like the new logo they are using that is a cross between a dino print and a basketball. Smart, simple and cool looking. Thanks for the kind words about the TFC stuff :0)

Its a basketball team, its supposed to be ostentatious, how cleanly could you combine a dinosaur with a basketball and the word “Raptors” that would be accessible, visually, to the general public better than they have? Have you been to a game? The logo matters about as much as the ticket you use to enter the game itself. Once you’ve entered and the ticket’s in your pocket it doesn’t matter unless you need it to distinguish which team is which. People are there for the action, not for the logo, open your eyes.
